Her food journey began on a family farm near Gansbaai, where she learned that the best food is simple, honest, and made with care. Refined over two decades in leading kitchens — including Hazendal, Pierneef à La Motte, and Michelin-starred restaurants in the Netherlands — Michelle brings sophisticated, grounded cooking to the estate. Since joining in 2025, she has reimagined its culinary direction, drawing on regenerative farm produce to create generous, beautiful simplicity.
