Chef Travis Finch is the Executive Chef at Arum, the FYN Restaurant Group's fire-focused, produce-driven restaurant on Boschendal Estate in the Cape Winelands. Raised in Durban, Finch trained under Peter Tempelhoff at The Greenhouse before cooking in London at Chapter One and The Connaught, traveling through Southeast Asia and India, and working at Vue de Monde in Melbourne. At Arum, Finch leads a kitchen shaped by live-fire cooking, whole-animal butchery, fermentation, and the rhythms of Boschendal's regenerative farming. His cuisine is modern and globally informed, guided by what the farm yields, what the season allows, and what fire transforms.
