Peter Tempelhoff
FYN Restaurant Group
Chef Peter Tempelhoff is Managing Director and Founding Chef of the FYN Restaurant Group in Cape Town, overseeing five restaurants: FYN, Beyond, Arum, Ramenhead, and Sushiya. Trained at the CIA and Culinary Institute of America, he honed his skills in English kitchens under Marco Pierre White before returning to SA in 2006. A journey to Japan in 2008 reshaped his approach. Opening FYN in 2018, he earned recognition on the World's 50 Best Restaurant list five times, Eat Out Restaurant of the Year 2026, and Relais & Châteaux membership.
