Giorgio Nava

Chef-proprietor Giorgio Nava is renowned for uncompromising quality and Milanese flair at his Cape Town restaurants. Faithful to traditional North Italian cuisine using South African field-to-table provenance, he has won multiple awards for best Italian restaurant over two decades. In 2013, he won the World Pasta Championship in Parma. Since 2003, Giorgio has wowed Cape Town palates, pioneering carpaccio and handmade pastas. With Carné on Keerom (2008), he pioneered prime cuts in Italian minimalist tradition. 2023 marks 20 years of his Italian culinary passion in South Africa.
