Restaurant The Pot Luck Club

A tapas-style dining experience perched on the top floor of the Silo District's Old Grain Silo complex at the V&A Waterfront. The Pot Luck Club is the brainchild of legendary chef Luke Dale-Roberts, offering sweeping 360-degree views of Table Mountain, the harbour, and the city below. The concept is simple: small plates designed for sharing, meant to be passed around the table with abandon.

The menu is divided into neat categories: Raw, Meat, Fish, and Vegetarian. Signature dishes include tuna with avocado and wasabi, crispy pork belly with apple purée, beef short rib with miso and sesame, and their famous salt and pepper squid. The food is bold, punchy, and unapologetically flavour-driven. The vibe is loud, lively, and anything but stuffy—think industrial-chic with exposed concrete, metal beams, and a buzzing open kitchen.

Hard to rank the dinner restaurants. They're all so great, but The Pot Luck Club has been incredibly consistent for years.
